1. Get in touchTell us what you've built and what you need certified. Send an inquiry through this site, email, or call us directly. |
2. Meet and applyWe set up a discovery call to understand your product, your timeline, and what certification will involve. Then we send you the paperwork: a confidentiality agreement, and an application matched to your type of business. |
3. Agree on the planWe prepare a proposal covering scope, fees, and timelines. You review it, sign the certification agreement, and your project is underway. |
4. Send your documentation and resultsWe start with a kick-off meeting to introduce your team to the online assessment platform and agree on how we'll work together. From there, you submit your product documentation, software, and results. |
5. Get certified
We assess what you've submitted against the standard. When your product meets it, we issue your certificate, report the certification to the regulator, and add your product to our public device registry. |

Every year Annual surveillance All certified models are subject to annual surveillance to verify continued conformance. |
Upon release Software Updates Software updates to a certified product must be reported to the certification body for review. |
As needed Requirement changes When certification requirements change, certified ELD vendors are required to implement the updated requirements. |
